Singur talks held in constructive spirit: GovernorFri-Sep 05, 2008 Kolkata / Press Trust of India West Bengal Governor Gopal Krishna Gandhi, who presided over the crucial talks on Singur between the government and Trinamool Congress-led opposition, on Friday said "the dialogue was useful and held in a constructive spirit". "We had three hours of useful and constructive discussion in a spirit of understanding. We will resume the dialogue tomorrow," Gandhi told a press conference immediately after the parleys at the Raj Bhavan. He thanked the participants for the spirit in which the talks were held.
