The Indian equities market closed in red.
The 30-share benchmark of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) sensitive index (Sensex) which opened at 15,082.37 points, touched a low of 14,608.05 before closing at 14,777.01 points. It went down by 165.21 points or 1.11 percent at the days close.
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) S & P Nifty, which opened at 4,476.20 points, closed at 4,433.55 points. It went down by 43.25 points or 0.97 per cent.
