India's Mahesh Bhupathi and Mark Knowles of Bahamas blew away two match points, going down to top-seeded Bryan brothers - Bob and Mike - in the semi-final of the Cincinnati Masters.

Bryans rallied to beat fourth-seeded Bhupathi-Knowles 4-6, 7-6(7), 10-8 in Cincinnati on Saturday.

In fact, the Americans at one stage were staring defeat when Knowles served for the match at 5-4 in the second set. The two held another match point at 6-5 in the second set tie-break but again failed to convert. The Bryans turned the match around and won four of the last five points to make it a set all.

In the super tie-breaker, the Bryans reeled off six straight points to take a 6-1 advantage. Bhupathi and Knowles tried to cover up but trailed 9-6 before holding their two serves.

Bryans sealed the match on Bob's serve with Mike ending the match with a cross-court forehand volley winner.

The 30-year-old Bryan twins will be making their third consecutive final appearance in Cincinnati and fourth overall. They captured the title in 2003 and were finalists the last two years.

The Bryans will face third seeds and defending champions Jonathan Erlich and Andy Ram of Israel in a rematch of last year's final. Erlich and Ram on Saturday night broke the 16-match winning streak of No 2 Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic with a 6-4, 5-7, 10-7 win in the semifinal.
