Pop star Britney Spears has been taking parenting tips from none other than the Queen of Pop Madonna. Spears has revealed that Madonna encouraged her to take her kids and their father on a tour, Sun online reported.

"It's all about history. What we as mothers are doing is creating history with our kids that we can look back on. When they're adults I want my kids to say 'Mom worked so hard, but she was always there for us," Spears told Hello Magazine.

The 27-year-old singer took the advice from Madonna and invited her ex-husband Kevin Federline to take care of their sons Sean Preston and Jayden James on the tour. But Federline didn't come cheap as the Womaniser hitmaker is paying him USD 5,000 a week for his services.
