Victoria Beckham's recent absence from the social scene has been explained by latest photographs which reveal that the fashionista has been suffering from a severe acne breakout. The former Spice Girl was clicked while emerging out of a shop in Beverly Hills with her son Cruz, with spots on her face, reported Daily Mail.

The 34-year-old mother of three, tried her best to take the attention away from her splotchy skin by wearing super short denim cut-offs with leather boots. Victoria also known as 'Posh Spice', has been troubled by outbreaks since she was a teenager and has gone to rather extraordinary lengths to treat her skin.

She regularly indulges in 100 pound Geisha Facials which use a paste made from nightingale droppings, to combat acne she has suffered since her teens.

But it seems that even the most expensive and bizarre treatment cannot keep her acne away.
