Doctors yet to take a decision on Koda's discharge

Doctors attending on former Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda are yet to take a decision on his discharge from hospital even as officials of the Enforcement Directorate and Income Tax wait to question him on alleged hawala transactions.

"The doctors have not yet made rounds of the wards. We will let you know as and when the doctors will decide," Public Relations officer of the Abdur Razzak Weavers Memorial Hospital, Javed Akhtar said.

He was replying to a query whether they were any chances of Koda being discharged during the day.

Koda got himself admitted to the hospital after he complained of stomach ache on November 3, three days after the launch of Income Tax raids on his residence in connection with alleged hawala transactions and illegal investments amounting to Rs 2000 crore.
