Deccan Chargers today slapped a legal notice on the Indian Premier League and threatened to skip the third edition of the Twenty20 league beginning next month if its home matches are not re-allotted to Hyderabad and Vishakapatnam.

The International Cricket Council today rejected BCCI's appeal to lift the year-long ban on Delhi's Feroze Shah Kotla ground which was deemed "unfit" after the recent India-Sri Lanka ODI was abandoned due to a dangerous pitch.

Avoiding taxes for long by calling itself a charitable organisation, the BCCI may now have to shell out more than Rs 100 cr as the income tax department is set to penalise the Indian Cricket Board for hiding details of its commercial activities.
