Rescue operations resumed on Monday morning to save the two-year-old boy, who fell into an open borewell at a hamlet in Warangal district of Andhra Pradesh.

The lifeless body of two-year-old Sonu was on Monday pulled out by rescue workers, four days after he fell into a 150-ft deep borewell that was carelessly left uncovered allegedly by district authorities in Shamsabad town.

Two-and-a-half-year-old Sonu, who fell into a 150-foot-deep borewell near here while playing, has been trapped inside for the past 24 hours.
