The nation on Thursday remembered victims of the Mumbai carnage with their families still coming to terms with the horror unleashed last year on this day that devastated their lives.

A week after the Mumbai terror attacks, two bags containing eight kg of explosive material were on Wednesday recovered from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Rail Terminus (CST) here and the explosives were there when Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh visited the spot.

Trains resumed plying normally early on Thursday at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST), nearly six hours after it was closed following a series of terrorist attacks in Mumbai.
