Bollywood director Ashutosh Gowarikar's historical love epic 'Jodhaa Akbar' swept the 10th International Indian Film Academy awards in Macau, taking home trophies for best picture, best director and best actor for heartthrob Hrithik Roshan.

The weekend culminates with the glittering 10th annual awards ceremony on Saturday in the giant Venetian casino resort, which organisers say will be attended by 8,000 guests and watched by 500 million TV viewers in 110 nations.

Thailand will host the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards in June in an effort to boost tourism and business between the two countries.
