    The government will come out with a "stimulus like package" by the end of this month to help the country's corporate sector tide over the impact of the current global financial crisis, Commerce Secretary G K Pillai said Thursday.

    Seeking to counter the impact of the global slowdown on India, the Planning Commission on Tuesday said that Centre should continue to provide stimulus to the economy in 2009-10, even while allowing the states to borrow more funds to step up capital expenditure.
