Asserting that India will "not act under anybody's pressure", Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Thursday ticked off Organisation of Islamic Countries (OIC) for appointing a special envoy for Jammu and Kashmir.

A grouping of 57 Islamic countries, OIC, has appointed a special envoy for Jammu and Kashmir, a move being seen as part of Pakistani efforts to internationalise the issue.

India today slammed the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) for commenting on Kashmir issue and dubbing the Mumbai terror attacks merely as an "incident".

An influential bloc of Muslim nations on Thursday called on the Philippines' government and Muslim rebels to end clashes, which - it said - put half a million civilians at risk and aided extremists who seek to destroy the fragile peace process.
