A court here today adjourned till April 15 the hearing on the appeal of former Haryana DGP SPS Rathore against his six month sentence in the Ruchika molestation case.

The Punjab and Haryana High Court on Monday adjourned till April 5 the hearing in the two FIRs levelling serious criminal charges against former Haryana DGP SPS Rathore in the Ruchika molestation case after the CBI sought more time in the investigations.

A local court today adjourned till March 10 the hearing on the appeal of SPS Rathore against the six-month sentence in the Ruchika molestation case.

Twenty-nine years old Utsav Sharma, who inflicted knife injuries on former Haryana DGP S P S Rathore, convicted in the Ruchika molestation case, was on Tuesday sent to one-day police remand.

Professor parents of the 29-year-old youth arrested for attacking former Haryana DGP SPS Rathore today said their son was under treatment for depression for the last six months.
