Dismissing Pakistan's allegation that India was involved in the Lahore blast, External Affairs Minister S M Krishna today said it was "most unthinkable" and a "falsehood" that was being spread.
Pakistan Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir on Friday called on External Affairs Minister S M Krishna and discussed bilateral relations.
A week ahead of the Indo-Pak Foreign Secretaries' meeting, India on Wednesday said these parleys should not be "mistaken" for resumption of the composite dialogue as these were "exploratory" talks.
The Indo-Pak Foreign Secretary-level talks are likely to go ahead as per schedule on February 25 despite the Pune bomb blast, with the incident expected to sharpen focus on the issue of terror that India is poised to raise.
Seeking the resumption of the stalled composite dialogue with India, the Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has underlined the need to boost trade links to promote peace in the region.
