Ahead of the Indo-Pak foreign secretary-level talks, Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Tuesday briefed the Chinese leadership on Islamabad's efforts to develop friendly relations with India.
Pakistan has indicated its readiness for the Foreign Secretary-level talks on February 25, saying the two sides need to "move forward" but insisted on resumption of composite dialogue covering Kashmir and other outstanding issues.
Amid concerns here over rising infiltration, External Affairs Minister S M Krishna on Wednesday spoke to his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi and pressed for "effective steps" to dismantle infrastructure of terror, saying it is still being "used" for anti-India acts.- India wants Pakistan to take action against those responsible for the Mumbai terrorist attack, before it can commit itself to resumption of composite dialogue as insisted by Pakistan.
