The CPI would rope in other like-minded parties to launch country-wide protests against the UPA government for "cheating" the people on Indo-US nuclear deal, the party's deputy general secretary S Sudhakar Reddy said in Hyderabad late on Thursday.

The Left, UNPA and BSP on Wednesday said they will launch a nation-wide campaign against the UPA government on nuclear deal, price rise and agrarian issues and described the trust vote win in Lok Sabha as "immoral".

As the countdown to the July 22 trust vote began, UNPA leaders met in New Delhi on Sunday to take stock of the emerging political situation and discuss the possible formation of a third front.

Samajwadi Party has refused to take the blame for the split in the UNPA following its decision to support the UPA government on the nuclear deal, saying the leaders left the coalition themselves.

The UNPA comprising TDP, AGP and Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (JVM) with eight MPs in Lok Sabha will vote against the confidence motion to be sought by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on July 22.
