The Chakradhar Samaroh, a cherished music festival in Raigarh, honors the legacy of Maharaja Chakradhar Singh, the former ruler known for his patronage of art and music. The 10-day festival, which began on September 7, was inaugurated by Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. During the opening ceremony, CM Sai highlighted Maharaja Chakradhar’s contributions to Indian classical music and affirmed his government’s commitment to preserving local art and heritage.

In addition to her performance at Chakradhar Samaroh, Hema Malini recently starred in a special Janmashtami event in Mathura, portraying Yashoda, the mother of Lord Krishna.
