Election Commission of India records only 22.70% voter turnout till 11 am in Haryana Elections. The polling began t 7 am , and a voter turnout of 9.53% by 9 AM was recorded in Haryana’s 90 legislative Assembly seats.
Patwal recordes the highest with 27.94%. Gurgaon records the lowest with only 17.05%.
In only one phase of the elections 2.03 crore voters are set to decide who will form the next government in Haryana. The BJP is eyeing on securing third term in the state and congress is making efforts to return to power after 10 years.
PM Modi on X, urged people to caste their crucial vote, he said, ” Voting is underway in Haryana Assembly Elections. I appeal to all voters to be a part of this holy festival of democracy and set a new record of voting. On this occasion, m special best wishes to all young friends of the state who are going to vote for the first time.”
