In a gesture of gratitude for exceptional craftsmanship, Gurdip Dev Bath, a businessman from Punjab, has gifted a Rolex watch to Rajinder Singh Roopra, the contractor who meticulously built his sprawling 9-acre estate in Zirakpur. The Rolex Oyster Perpetual Sky-Dweller, valued at approximately ₹18 lakh, was presented in recognition of Roopra’s dedication to quality, speed, and attention to detail in constructing Bath’s home, which resembles a traditional Rajasthani fort.
The luxurious home features imposing architecture with a grand fortress-like design, including two roaring lion statues at the entrance, a central fountain, and beautifully landscaped gardens. The massive boundary wall and palatial halls inside the white estate add to its grandeur, making the home a blend of traditional Rajasthani inspiration with a modern touch.
According to NDTV, Bath expressed his appreciation for Roopra’s commitment to timelines and detail, which he felt went beyond his expectations. Bath noted that the property, designed by architect Ranjodh Singh, was “not just a house; it’s a statement of grandeur,” showcasing elegance and reflecting the family’s vision.
Roopra, hailing from Shahkot, Punjab, led a team of over 200 laborers daily to complete the extensive project within two years. He acknowledged that working on such a vast estate was both a challenging and rewarding experience. Roopra credited his workforce for their hard work in realizing Bath’s vision for the palatial home.
The Rolex gifted to Roopra is a luxurious Yellow Rolesor Sky-Dweller with a Jubilee bracelet and Champagne Dial, known for its fine craftsmanship and exclusive design, further marking the high regard Bath holds for the quality of Roopra’s work on this exceptional estate.
