Vice President Kamala Harris declined to reveal how she voted on a high-profile California ballot measure that seeks to roll back recent criminal justice reforms. While campaigning in Michigan, Harris mentioned that her mail-in ballot was on its way to California, just two days before Election Day. "I’m not going to discuss my vote on that. Honestly, it’s the Sunday before the election, and I don’t want to create an endorsement in either direction," Harris said. Before becoming vice president in 2020, Harris served as San Francisco’s district attorney, California's attorney general, and a U.S. senator.

Live Updates: At her final rally in Michigan on Sunday, Kamala Harris vowed to “do everything in my power to end the war in Gaza,” as she sought to connect with the state’s significant Arab American and Muslim American communities just two days before the election. Michigan is home to approximately 240,000 registered Muslim voters, many of whom supported Biden in 2020, contributing to his narrow win over Donald Trump. However, Arab Americans and Muslim Americans in the state have voiced disappointment with the vice president’s position on the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

Live Updates: "Indian-Americans Are Not a Monolithic Society," Says Congressman Shri Thanedar on Upcoming U.S. Presidential Elections In the lead-up to the upcoming U.S. presidential elections, Indian-American Congressman Shri Thanedar emphasized the diversity within the Indian-American community. He noted, "While the majority of Indian-Americans lean Democratic, we are not a monolithic society; we have varied perspectives on social, economic, and immigration issues. It is crucial for voters to carefully examine the two candidates, as there is a stark contrast between them. Kamala Harris is a strong advocate for democracy and women's rights, whereas Donald Trump has previously expressed hostility towards immigrants and tends to favor the wealthy and large corporations."
Live Updates: Former U.S. President Donald Trump delivered a forceful speech at a Pennsylvania rally this morning, sharply criticizing Vice President Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party. Trump condemned the current electoral process, advocating for single-day voting, and took direct aim at Harris. “It’s all corrupt. She’s corrupt. She’s a corrupt person,” Trump stated emphatically. “And I’m really not running against her. I’m running against a corrupt machine called the Democrat Party.” Trump also voiced disapproval over Harris’s nomination as the Democratic presidential candidate, implying that it was unjustly taken from President Joe Biden, whom he labeled a “poor, stupid guy.”
Live Updates: At a rally in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, two days before the 2024 presidential election, Donald Trump delivered a speech filled with inflammatory rhetoric, revisiting conspiracy theories about the 2020 election and hinting he "shouldn't have left" the White House after losing to Joe Biden. In a marked shift from his recent campaign addresses, Trump cast doubt on the integrity of the upcoming vote and reignited grievances about his 2020 defeat. His remarks also included a sharp escalation in verbal attacks against the Democratic Party, calling it “demonic,” and the American media, which he criticized while referencing violence against journalists. At one point, Trump pointed to ballistic glass panels used to protect him, referring to an assassination attempt in July. Gesturing toward openings in the panels, he remarked, “I have this piece of glass here, but really, all we have over here is the fake news. And to get me, somebody would have to shoot through the fake news. And I don’t mind that so much.”
Live Updates: During a rally in North Carolina, former President Donald Trump appeared to mistakenly give a shout-out to Pennsylvania’s GOP Senate candidate Dave McCormick, as reported by CNN. "We have great Republicans running, and you have one of the best of all right here, David McCormick. You know that. Where's David? Is he around somewhere?" Trump said to the crowd in Kinston, North Carolina. Realizing his error after holding a rally in Pennsylvania earlier that day, Trump quickly corrected himself, adding, "You know, we just left him; he’s a great guy."
