How Long Will Bengaluru Experience Dropping Temperatures And Light Rain? Full Weather Forecast Here

Bengaluru, which is still feeling the effects of Cyclone Fengal, is set to experience more fluctuating weather over the coming week. Following the cyclone’s passage, the city is expected to see intermittent rain and a significant drop in temperatures. According to weather forecasts, Bengaluru will have mainly clear skies during the morning hours on December 7, turning partly cloudy in the afternoon or evening. Daytime temperatures are predicted to range between 19°C and 29°C, reflecting the city’s shifting weather conditions.

The weather pattern for the week is expected to bring more of the same, with varying levels of rainfall and misty conditions. Here’s a closer look at what to expect:

  • December 8: Generally cloudy skies with light rain expected.
  • December 9: Misty conditions throughout the day.
  • December 10: Another misty day, with similar weather patterns.
  • December 11: Mist continues to dominate, with no significant changes.
  • December 12: Misty skies persist, maintaining steady weather.

Throughout this period, temperatures will consistently remain between 19°C and 28°C, providing some relief from the usual warmth of the city.

Why Are Temperatures Dropping?

The temperature drop is a direct result of the effects of Cyclone Fengal, which has brought light to moderate rainfall to Bengaluru. This change in weather has been a welcome relief for residents, offering a break from the city’s typically warmer climate.

Cyclone Fengal’s Impact

While Bengaluru has experienced milder rainfall compared to the coastal regions, the remnants of Cyclone Fengal continue to influence the city’s weather patterns. Coastal Karnataka, especially, has faced significant disruptions due to heavy rains, but Bengaluru is only witnessing light to moderate showers. As the cyclone weakens, weather experts are monitoring the situation closely, with intermittent rain expected over the next several days.

The IMD and local authorities are advising residents to stay cautious during rainy spells, especially while commuting or traveling around the city. Public safety remains a priority, and people are encouraged to stay informed of any changes in the weather forecast.
