PM Kisan Sammelan 2022: Over 13k farmers to attend

Today (October 17), the 12th payment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) will be released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to farmers’ accounts, giving much-needed happiness in advance of the festive occasion of Diwali.

During the opening of the two-day Agri Startup Conclave & Kisan Sammelan summit, which is being organised by the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, the Modi government will deposit the 12th payment of the PM Kisan programme, worth Rs 2,000, into the bank accounts of qualified farmers.

Beneficiary accounts for the PM-KISAN plan will be credited with funds totaling Rs 16,000 crore.

  2. Next, choose Farmers Corner.
  3. Select the Beneficiary Status menu item.
  4. A new page will now load.
  5. Type in your mobile number and Aadhaar number.
  6. Following this, you will receive detailed information regarding the progress of your instalments.

On May 31, Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed the 11th payment of financial assistance under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) programme. PM Modi distributed over Rs 21,000 crore to over 10 crore farmer families who benefited from the transfer.

PM Modi introduced the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Scheme in 2019. Subject to specific exclusions, the Scheme attempts to offer income support to all landholder farmer families in the nation who own cultivable land.

A total of Rs 6000 is paid to recipients under the Scheme in three equal instalments of Rs 2000 every four months, directly into their bank accounts. PM Kisan instalments are awarded three times during a fiscal year: during Period 1 from April to July, Period 2 from August to November, and Period 3 from December to March.
