Tawang Clash: Security forces increases patrolling along J&K India-Pak border

Following the India-China standoff in Arunachal Pradesh, security forces troops enhanced patrolling along the India-Pakistan International boundary in Samba.

In addition, the Border Security Force (BSF) has intensified patrols along the Indo-Pak international border in Samba. A jawan stated that they are ready for the enemy to breach the border at any moment and in any conditions.

“We are prepared for the enemy arriving from over the border in any weather and at any moment,” a jawan stated.

Earlier on December 12, a clash between Indian and Chinese forces in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tawang sector resulted in minor injuries “to a few individuals” from both sides, sources said on Monday, adding that both sides quickly retreated from the region.

According to reports, on December 9, 2022, PLA soldiers in Arunachal Pradesh contacted the LAC, which was fiercely defended by Indian troops.

Meanwhile, on December 13, PLA forces battled with three Indian Army units from various infantry regiments, thwarting their attempt to disrupt the status quo along the Line of Actual Control.
