According to data from the government, India now has 2,706 active cases, with a daily positive rate of 0.17 percent. The authorities said that a total of 220.10 billion vaccination doses—including 95.13 billion second doses and 22.40 billion precautionary ones—have been given up to this point. There have been up to 64,239 dosages given in the last 24 hours.

India recorded 226 new Covid-19 cases in 24 hours on Saturday, with a daily positive rate of 0.12%, according to information provided to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. India reported 243 new cases of the coronavirus on Friday.

All international travellers to India from China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and Thailand will be required to submit a report on the Air Suvidha portal before departure and submit a mandatory RT-PCR test starting on January 1, 2023, according to sources in the Union Health Ministry on Thursday.
