Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with his top ministers in Parliament on Tuesday.
In Parliament, the ministers included Union Coal Minister Pralhad Joshi, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, Union Law and Justice Minister Kiren Rijiju, Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur, and Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari. The second leg of Parliament’s Budget session resumed on Monday after a month’s break. The Parliament was adjourned twice after the Opposition caused a commotion by demanding an apology from Rahul Gandhi for his remarks in London.
The current Budget Session’s second leg will last until April 6.
