Rajnath Singh, the minister of defence, was diagnosed with Covid-19 on Thursday and is currently quarantined at home.
He was checked by a group of medical professionals, who advised that he take a few days off. According to a formal statement, the minister is presently being quarantined at home while dealing with minor symptoms. According to the statement, Singh was supposed to attend the meeting of Indian Air Force Commanders today in the nation’s capital but was forced to miss it after testing positive for the virus.
He was joined by the Chief of Army Staff General Manoj Pande and other senior Army commanders when he attended the Army Commanders meeting on Wednesday. On a small weapons firing simulator, he practise shooting.
