Bullets were discovered in Bhimber Gali, Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir, where five soldiers were killed in a terror attack on April 20.
The Rajouri-Poonch Highway was opened from the Surankot side.
Earlier on Friday, the Indian Army launched a massive operation to apprehend a group of six to seven terrorists responsible for the attack.
“The Army and security agencies have received inputs about the presence of 6-7 terrorists operating in two groups in the Rajouri-Poonch sector near the area where the incident took place yesterday,” defence sources told ANI.
NewsX sources said that two brothers Rafiq Nai and Shamsher Nai, natives of Poonch who shifted to Pakistan, were the names behind the attack. Another terrorist by the name of Mohd Amin Bhat has been put ‘in-charge’ of Kishtwar Doda and Ramban districts, sources added.
