People are against BJP and the swing is in favour of Congress this time, former Chief Minister of Karnataka and newly made Congress leader Jagadish Shettar claimed while taking to NewsX on Wednesday amid the ongoing Karnataka elections.
“The current state government of BJP is the most corrupt one and rates are fixed for each post. Many leaders quit the party after me and joined Congress,” He said.

In an exclusive interview with NewsX, He said that the major issues of the state are infrastructure, water supply, waste management and road connectivity, especially in Bangalore.
“BJP has not worked for the development of the state,” He said.
The Hubbali Dharwad Central constituency has set the stage for an epic battle between Indian National Congress (INC) candidate Jagadish Shettar and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Mahesh Tenginakai. The Janata Dal (Secular) candidate in the constituency is Siddalingeshgow da Mahanthavadeyar, who is challenging both the BJP and Congress leaders.
Hubballi Dharwad Central made two Chief Ministers for Karnataka: SR Bommai, father of the current Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, and Jagadish Shettar.
