Alongside Miss India World 2022 Sini Shetty, Karolina, who is from Poland, recently commemorated World Environment Day and menstrual hygiene week. Head of the Miss World Organisation, Julia Morley.
“International Menstrual Hygiene Day and World Environment Day. At the NDMC theatre in Delhi, it was a day to remember for hundreds of schoolchildren and local government sanitation workers as we had the chance to advocate for menstrual equality around the world and declare that every young woman should have access to either free or reasonably priced sanitary pads as a basic human right. The continuing education programme, which includes providing young women with much-needed facilities and supporting Jaydeep Mandal’s environmentally friendly invention of a fully compostable sanitary napkin, includes this engagement with 22 Delhi schools,” she took to her Instagram and wrote. She also added, “I am proud to support a project that is good for women’s health and the Earth.”
