According to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police, between June 18, 2022, and June 18, 2023, 665 terrorist acts were registered in the province. According to The Dawn, this also includes 15 suicide bombings.
According to the list of “Motive Wise Terrorism Incidents” released by the provincial police, 140 terror operations, including eight suicide bombings, 37 IED and three hand grenade explosions, five rocket attacks, and 85 fire incidents, were reported in the North Waziristan tribal district alone.
According to the list, which Dawn has a copy of, 81 terrorist attacks took place in the Dera Ismail Khan district, including 70 shooting events, seven IED blasts, two grenade explosions, one suicide attack, and one rocket attack.

Most of these occurrences, according to the dossier, took place in North Waziristan.
The Peshawar district reported 56 acts of militancy, including two suicide and 25 rocket assaults, eight IEDs, and 19 weapons.
Terror reports released by the Dawn
The document showed that, according to The Dawn, the South Waziristan tribal district registered 49 such attacks, comprising 33 guns, 13 IEDs, and one rocket, while the Bajaur tribal district documented 55 such operations, including 21 gun, four grenade, and 30 IED strikes.
It said that terrorists each carried out 48 strikes in the districts of Khyber and Lakki Marwat.
According to the paper, 21 terror assaults, including 13 grenade attacks, three IED explosions, and five gun attacks, were reported in the Kohat area, while the Swat district saw 10 gun, one grenade, and five IED attacks.
Additionally, from June 18, 2022, to June 18, 2023, the Mohmand tribal district reported 13 gun and one grenade attacks and the Mardan district reported six grenade, two IED and five gun attacks.
The list also stated that five guns, one IED, and five grenade incidents involving 11 terror activists were reported in Charsadda. In comparison, the Nowshera district experienced two gun attacks and four grenade explosions during that time.
