According to reports cited by media, Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam Fazl (JUI-F) is expected to team up with the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) ahead of the general elections to compete against the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in Sindh.

In Karachi, GDA leadership met with JUI-F chairman Maulana Fazlur Rehman to examine the broader political climate of the nation. Both politicians talked about creating an electoral coalition to compete in Sindh elections against the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).

According to media, the meeting was called after Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif declared that the current administration would cede power to a caretaker setup in August 2023.

Additionally, PM Shehbaz predicted that the caretaker administration would take over in August 2023 and take over the PM office in April 2022.
