The preparations for the eagerly awaited G20 Summit, scheduled for September 9-10, are in full swing as the national capital readies itself to host this prestigious event.

Striking visuals from Dhaula Kuan depict dazzling illuminations showcasing the G20’s theme, “One Earth, One Family, One Future.” A captivating Life-size sculpture of “Vighnaharta” graces the trijunction in front of the Dhaula Kuan Metro Station on NH-48, adding to the festive ambiance.

The Bharat Mandapam at Pragati Maidan, the focal point of this grand occasion, has undergone a stunning transformation with vibrant plantations, blooming flowers, and festive decorations. A magnificent 28-foot-tall Nataraja statue radiates brilliance during the night, enhancing the venue’s charm.

Simultaneously, the Delhi Police has intensified its vehicle inspection operations for the second consecutive day in the city in anticipation of the G20 Summit. Surprise checks were conducted at Yusuf Sarai, extending from Tuesday night into the early hours of Wednesday, as diligent police personnel meticulously inspected vehicles.

The vehicle inspection initiative commenced at India Gate and other key areas in the city on Monday night and continued into the early hours of Tuesday. Additionally, a paramilitary force, accompanied by a senior Delhi Police officer, has been stationed at Tilak Bridge in the national capital as a precautionary measure in response to threats from elements associated with Khalistani groups, aimed at defacing properties in the vicinity.

Delhi Police Special Commissioner for Law and Order, Dependra Pathak, emphasized the significance of the G20 Summit and expressed confidence in the police force’s ability to ensure flawless safety, security, and law and order arrangements. He underscored the dedication and professionalism of the Delhi Police in planning and executing these crucial responsibilities.
