We are living in a century that is characterized by the pursuit of personal gain. Does this mean that we are no longer able to value the common good or be altruistic? In a world that has all the time for personal luxuries, one would think not. But Santosh T. Dhuwali proves that is not true, and he is a prime example of how human beings can still act selflessly today.
Born and brought up in the economic capital of the country, Mumbai, he currently holds the position of General Secretary for the Maharashtra NCP. However, his journey into the world of politics was not driven by ambition or self-interest. It was rooted in a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of those he represented, the common people.
Santosh has always been all ears to everyone who comes to him with their problems and lends his hand wherever possible. Whether it was about providing financial aid or offering assistance in the form of legal aid, he would always go the extra mile. He, along with his team, has distributed food to children at the Vipla Foundation. He has also distributed food during COVID time and has helped numerous people in different ways.
Speaking of his kind acts, how can one forget the Ganesh Chaturthi celebration of 2021, when Santosh built a small pond for Ganpati Visarjan at Bandra and contributed towards forging a society with a better environment. In the last few years, he has been instrumental in aiding more than a hundred families in Mumbai and Pune, and now it is time to do his part for people all across Maharashtra.
Though Mumbai has a long history of great social workers, Santosh is undoubtedly one of its finest examples. His actions have not gone unnoticed and have led him to become one of the most promising leaders Maharashtra has produced.
Apart from the political realm, Santosh is also turning heads as an entrepreneur. He owns multiple restaurants in Mumbai, Pune, and Dubai, as well as a few hotels and restaurants in Thailand. Besides that, he is also into construction. We surely need more people like Santosh who are generous towards people and helpful to society. We hope he keeps up with his good deeds.
