“Congress aayi, tabahi laayi,” PM Modi at Satna rally in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi intensified his attack on Congress in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh at a rally in Satna on Thursday, asserting that the party’s rule brought destruction to the state. In a scathing indictment of the Congress, PM Modi declared, “Congress aayi, tabahi laayi (Congress came, brought with it destruction).” The Prime Minister further accused the Congress of lacking a development roadmap for Madhya Pradesh, emphasizing the trust people place in his promises.

“Congress has no plan for the development of Madhya Pradesh. The youth of the state sees no future with Congress. The state trusts in the guarantees given by Modi. Har guarantee ki poori hone ki guarantee,” he stated. Making a fervent appeal to the people of the state to vote for BJP, he asserted, “Your one vote has done wonders, demoralizing the country’s enemies. Your vote from the MP will strengthen Modi in Delhi. Your one vote will oust the corrupt Congress from MP.” Warning of dire consequences of a Congress victory, he proclaimed, “Free ration and free healthcare will stop if Congress is voted to power.” The Prime Minister highlighted the roadblocks created by the Congress at the Center, hindering the BJP government in Madhya Pradesh from functioning effectively.

“Congress had pushed Madhya Pradesh into a dark well, and BJP has been trying to pull it out. Now is the time for sabka vikas (development for everyone). Dalits, backward classes, tribals, and the poor, everyone will get their rights,” he declared. PM Modi further emphasized that the government has constructed four crore houses for people in the past decade. “We build the Ram temple with the same devotion as we build four crore houses. This is Modi’s guarantee to all those who still don’t have a house, they will get one,” he said. Madhya Pradesh is among five states set for a single-phase election on November 17, with vote counting scheduled for December 3.

“Where did all this money go during the Congress government? It went into the 2G scam, the coal scam, and the Commonwealth scam, but I stopped all these scams. In 10 years, the BJP has transferred Rs 10 lakh crore to the accounts of the poor. It is unfortunate for Congress that you have given power to a watchman. We started the free ration scheme during the Corona period. This scheme will end in December. People have requested its extension, so I decided to run this scheme for another five years. This will end the ration worries of four lakh families in Satna district,” PM Modi said. On November 17, voters will elect representatives from 230 Assembly constituencies in the state.
