During a virtual interaction with beneficiaries of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, Prime Minister Narendra Modi underscored the importance of ensuring that the benefits of welfare schemes reach their intended recipients. He emphasized that government policies should not merely serve as posters for MPs but should genuinely benefit everyone under ‘Modi’s guarantee.’
PM Modi expressed his commitment to fulfilling all guarantees, assuring that the ‘Modi’s Development Guarantee’ initiative would extend to every village in the country. Acknowledging the faith placed in him, he pledged to honor all commitments made during his virtual address.
The Prime Minister inaugurated a program aimed at increasing the number of Jan Aushadi Kendras from 10,000 to 25,000 across the country. He highlighted the significant reduction in medicine expenses, from Rs 12,000-13,000 to Rs 2000-3000, due to the Jan Aushadhi Kendra initiative.
Furthermore, PM Modi launched the Pradhan Mantri Mahila Kisan Drone Kendra, an initiative empowering women by providing drones to Women Self Help Groups (SHGs) for agricultural purposes. He commended the rapid adoption of drone technology by rural women and emphasized the program’s contribution to women’s empowerment.
Addressing the citizens, PM Modi highlighted a shift in the government’s approach, considering citizens as ‘God’ rather than adopting a paternalistic stance. He emphasized that the government’s priority is the well-being of the people, and their focus is on service rather than governance.
Identifying women, youth, farmers, and the poor as the pivotal pillars for India’s development, PM Modi emphasized the importance of uplifting these segments. The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, initiated on November 15 from Khunti, Jharkhand, aims to gather experiences from beneficiaries of government schemes and identify areas for further inclusion.
Two key initiatives announced by the Prime Minister during Independence Day — providing drones to women SHGs and increasing Jan Aushadhi Kendras — were reemphasized during the virtual interaction with the beneficiaries.
