Gogamedi Murder Case: Delhi Police Transfers Three Accused to Jaipur for Handover to Rajasthan Police

Following the shocking murder of Karni Sena President Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, Delhi Police announced the successful arrest of the three main suspects in the case. The accused, identified as Nitin Fauji, Rohit Rathore, and Udham Singh, were apprehended by the Delhi Police Crime Branch and are slated to be handed over to the Rajasthan Police today.

Ravindra Yadav, Special CP, Delhi Police Crime Branch, revealed that the coordination between Delhi and Rajasthan Police played a crucial role in tracking down the accused. The investigation unfolded a trail leading from the crime scene to Rewari railway station, Hisar, and eventually to Manali.

“Two of the three individuals, Nitin Fauji and Rohit Rathore, are identified as shooters, while the third, Udham Singh, provided logistical support,” stated Special CP Yadav. The trio was nabbed in Chandigarh upon their return, and the Delhi Police is now transporting them to Jaipur for further legal proceedings.

Director General of Police Umesh Mishra commended the police team for their swift action in apprehending the suspects. He expressed gratitude to the Delhi Police for their cooperation and coordinated efforts in resolving the case.

In a joint operation with the Rajasthan Police, the Chandigarh Police team raided a hotel in Sector 24, where the accused were detained. Footage from the hotel in Chandigarh revealed that the suspects were staying under false identities. The police have taken the hotel receptionist for questioning to gather more information.

Meanwhile, the Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena is set to organize a memorial service for the slain chief, Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan on Sunday. Gogamedi was fatally shot by three assailants at his residence in Jaipur on December 5.

In another development, Jaipur police arrested Ramveer Singh, a resident of Mahendragarh, Haryana, in connection with Gogamedi’s murder. Investigations revealed that Ramveer had been a facilitator for Nitin Fauji, one of the assailants.

The arrests bring some closure to the tragic incident, but investigations are ongoing to uncover the full extent of the conspiracy and motives behind the murder of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi.
