PM Modi has accepted the invitation to inaugurate the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi on February 14 next year as per the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha in a press statement that they have released.
The acceptance of the invitation came after PM Modi met BAPS Swami Ishwarchandradas at the PM’s Residential Office and the PM also enthusiastically supported the temple.
PM Modi was honoured with a garland and a saffron shawl was draped around his shoulder. They also commended the Prime Minister for his infrastructural initiatives wherein he has developed marvelous pilgrimage sites around the world.
During the meeting, Swami Brahmaviharidas also showcased the latest updates of the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi and he said ‘The inauguration event will be a great event, a millenial moment of celebration for the time to come’.
In the concluding minutes of the meeting, the Prime Minister shared his personal vision for greater spiritual growth and India’s emergence as a global leader.
