Adani Green has announced the completion of the 1,050 MW joint Venture with TotalEnergies. As a part of the venture, TotalEnergies has invested a sub-total of $300 Million in the AGEL Subsidiary, for acquiring a 50% stake in the projects.
The agreement comes after a binding agreement was signed about the Joint Venture in September 2023 between AGEL and TotalEnergies. As per agreements of the Joint Venture, the 1,050 MW portfolio comprises a mix of already operational (300 MW), under constructiion and development assets and includes both solar and wind power projects in India.
TotalEnergies has reinforced it’s strategic alliance with AGEL with said transaction and it’s unwavering support in order to enable AGEL’s target of 45 GW capacity by 2030.
