As the consecration day for Shri Ram at Ram Mandir in Ayodhya approaches, the BJP is gearing up to celebrate the event on a grand scale, aiming to connect every devotee with the ceremony. In a meeting conducted at the BJP Headquarters in Delhi today, the national president of the BJP, JP Nadda, directed party workers to ensure that every individual gets the opportunity to witness the Darshan at Ram Mandir.
Addressing the gathering, Nadda emphasized the need for BJP workers to create a festive atmosphere akin to Diwali across the country on January 22, the consecration day of Shri Ram Lala at Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Sources indicate that Nadda instructed workers to assist everyone visiting Ayodhya for Darshan, ensuring a seamless and non-discriminatory experience.
To facilitate this, the BJP has planned a campaign from January 25 to March 25, during which party workers will arrange 50,000 Darshan daily. Nadda mentioned that individuals visiting the Ram Mandir would bear their own expenses, with the BJP assisting in coordinating accommodation and other arrangements. Around 35 trains will be operational daily, connecting Ayodhya to 430 cities.
A significant development noted in the meeting was the appointment of convenors at the state, Lok Sabha, and Assembly levels. It was emphasized that those intending to visit the Ram temple should refrain from using BJP flags. Concurrently, the BJP, in the meeting, unveiled a new slogan for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls: ‘Teesri baar Modi Sarkar, ab ki baar 400 paar.’ The party has set a target to secure 400 plus seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
In terms of organizational roles, the BJP has decided on convenors and co-convenors at the state, Lok Sabha, and assembly levels. Future visits by the Prime Minister, Home Minister, Defence Minister, and BJP President JP Nadda to Lok Sabha clusters are anticipated to commence shortly, as per party sources. The meeting, attended by approximately 150 party functionaries, covered these crucial aspects of the BJP’s plans and strategies.
