PM Modi to Inaugurate National Youth Festival in Nashik, Tight Security Arrangements Uderway

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi gears up to inaugurate the 27th National Youth Festival in Nashik, stringent security arrangements have been implemented to ensure the smooth conduct of the event. The festival, a celebration of youth spirit and creativity, is set to be a significant occasion with the Prime Minister gracing the inauguration.

The venue in Nashik has witnessed heavy security deployment in and around the premises where PM Modi will address the gathering and officially inaugurate the festival. Additionally, the Prime Minister is scheduled to offer prayers at the Shree Kalaram Mandir in Nashik, adding a touch of spiritual significance to the visit.

During the event, PM Modi will inaugurate the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewri-Nhava Sheva Atal Setu, an impressive engineering marvel built at a cost of about Rs 17,840 crore. This bridge holds the distinction of being the longest in the country and the longest sea bridge, a testament to India’s infrastructure advancements.

The visit will also mark the laying of the foundation stone for an underground road tunnel connecting Eastern Freeway’s Orange Gate and the launch of the Namo Mahila Shashaktikaran Abhiyaan in the state. The tunnel project aims to enhance connectivity, and the empowerment initiative for women seeks to provide skill development training and exposure to entrepreneurship development.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister is set to dedicate the phase 1 of the Surya regional bulk drinking water project to the nation. Developed at a cost exceeding Rs 1,975 crore, this project will provide a crucial drinking water supply to the Palghar and Thane districts of Maharashtra, benefiting around 14 lakh people.

Amidst the event, PM Modi will also dedicate approximately Rs 2000 crore worth of railway projects to the nation, including the ‘Phase 2 of Uran-Kharkopar railway line.’ This development will significantly enhance connectivity to Navi Mumbai, extending suburban services between Nerul/Belapur to Kharkopar to Uran.

The inauguration of these projects underscores the commitment to infrastructure development, youth empowerment, and the overall progress of Maharashtra. The National Youth Festival, coupled with these landmark initiatives, is poised to be a momentous occasion in Nashik.
