Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, speaking at a gathering in Sambhal on Monday, lauded the remarkable transformation taking place in India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Adityanath credited successful governance for achieving what was once deemed impossible, highlighting the growing international stature of PM Modi.
Adityanath expressed pride in PM Modi’s global recognition and emphasized the significance of the “double-engine government” in Uttar Pradesh, which ensures both respect for faith and livelihood opportunities for its citizens. He made these remarks while addressing a gathering at the foundation stone laying ceremony of Shri Kalki Dham Temple in Ainchoda Kamboh village, Sambhal.
Highlighting recent milestones such as the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya and the inauguration of a temple in the United Arab Emirates, Adityanath underscored the emergence of a new India marked by unprecedented growth and prosperity. He stressed the importance of initiatives like the Kashi Vishwanath Dham and the rejuvenation of cultural heritage sites like Kedarnath and Badrinath in reflecting the essence of this new India.
Adityanath criticized previous governments for neglecting faith and failing to provide livelihoods, contrasting their record with the global recognition India’s cultural heritage now enjoys under PM Modi’s leadership. He also announced plans for the construction of the Ganga Expressway in Sambhal, aimed at facilitating swift transportation for the people of Western Uttar Pradesh during the upcoming Prayagraj Kumbh in 2025.
Prime Minister Modi, earlier in the day, laid the foundation stone for Shri Kalki Dham in the presence of Adityanath and Acharya Pramod Krishnam. The proposed temple is being constructed by Shri Kalki Dham Nirman Trust, chaired by Acharya Pramod Krishnam.
The event witnessed the participation of saints, religious leaders, and other dignitaries. Later in the day, PM Modi is set to launch over 14,500 projects across Uttar Pradesh worth more than Rs 10 lakh crore at the fourth groundbreaking ceremony in Lucknow. These projects span various sectors including manufacturing, renewable energy, IT, food processing, housing, real estate, hospitality, and education, among others. The ceremony is expected to be attended by industrialists, global and Indian firm representatives, ambassadors, and other distinguished guests.
