Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan participated in the 24th Convocation of Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies in Pitampura, New Delhi, on Monday. Notably, Pradhan chose to commute to the venue using the Delhi Metro.
During the convocation ceremony, the Union Education Minister congratulated and extended his best wishes to the students of the institute. He emphasized that the youth of India carries the expectations of the world and the convocation marks the commencement of a new journey for the graduating students.
Pradhan took to social media to convey his message, stating, “Congratulations and best wishes to all the students of Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies who have received their degrees and gold medals at the 24th Convocation. The world has a lot of expectations from India’s youth, particularly from students of distinguished institutions like VIPS. I am sure our students will dream, aspire and achieve big and also fulfill global expectations.”
Expressing confidence in India’s youth, Pradhan stated that they will uphold the country’s civilizational ethos for global well-being and prosperity. He highlighted that in the coming years, India is expected to become the third-largest economy and take a leadership role in Industry 4.0 and beyond. Pradhan assured that the government, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, will act as an enabler to realize the aspirations of the youth, champion youth-led development, and channel their energy for the goal of a developed India.
