Foreign ministers from Sweden, Tobias Billstrom, and Latvia, Krisjanis Karins, arrived in India on Tuesday in preparation for the Raisina Dialogue, which will take place in New Delhi on February 21–23. The two leaders received a hearty welcome in Delhi, according to Randhir Jaiswal, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs.
In a post on X, Randhir Jaiswal stated, “Greetings to our esteemed guests arriving for #RaisinaDialogue2024! FM @TobiasBillstrom of Sweden & FM @krisjaniskarins of Latvia arrive to a warm welcome in New Delhi.”
Earlier, Greek Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis arrived in New Delhi to attend the Raisina Dialogue.
India’s premier geopolitical and geoeconomics conference, Raisina Dialogue is dedicated to tackling the most difficult problems the world community faces. Raisina Dialogue’s ninth edition is scheduled to take place in Delhi on February 21–23. The Observer Research Foundation and the Ministry of External Affairs are working together to organize it. At the 9th Raisina Dialogue in Delhi, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will be the featured speaker and chief guest. The Raisina Dialogue will bring together ministers, national security advisors, senior officials, and representatives from over 100 countries in the fields of industry, technology, finance, and other sectors.
According to a video posted by Randhir Jaiswal on X, the thematic pillars of Raisina Dialogue are – “Tech Frontiers: Regulations and Realities, Peace with the Planet: Invest and Innovate, War and Peace: Armouries and Asymmetries, Decolonising Multilateralism: Institutions and Inclusion, The Post-2030 Agenda: People and Progress.”
