Billie Eilish to Release Third Studio Album following ‘Happier Than Ever’

Billies fans are buzzing with excitement as the much-anticipated release of her third studio album appears to be on the horizon. Eilish took to Instagram on Wednesday night to share an update with her followers, revealing that her album is now mastered. Accompanying the announcement were striking images of Eilish sporting a ninja mask adorned with stars, hinting at the artistic direction of her upcoming project.

While Eilish has kept additional details about the album under wraps, the mastering process typically signals the final stage in the recording journey, suggesting that the release could be imminent. This highly awaited album follows the success of Eilish’s previous works, including the critically acclaimed ‘Happier Than Ever’ from 2021 and the groundbreaking ‘When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?’ released in 2019.

In 2022, Eilish treated fans to a glimpse of her musical versatility with the release of a two-track EP titled ‘Guitar Songs,’ alongside an award-winning single featured on the Barbie soundtrack, ‘What Was I Made For?’

During a December appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Eilish hinted at the album’s progress, indicating that it was nearing completion. Similarly, in a previous interview with The Cookout in September, she teased the forthcoming album, sharing her excitement about its impending release.

Reflecting on her creative journey, Eilish candidly discussed her struggles with creativity during a roundtable discussion with the Hollywood Reporter in November. Despite grappling with doubts about her abilities, Eilish found renewed inspiration when director Greta Gerwig enlisted her to create a song for the Barbie soundtrack, leading to a surge of creativity and productivity.

As fans eagerly await further updates on Eilish’s upcoming album, her latest Instagram post serves as a tantalizing glimpse into what promises to be another groundbreaking chapter in the singer’s illustrious career.
