A chilling tale unfolds in Hyderabad as a businesswoman’s relentless obsession with marrying a video jockey (VJ) drives her to orchestrate his kidnapping. The shocking incident came to light after the VJ filed a complaint with the police, revealing a harrowing saga of tracking devices, impersonation, and hired kidnappers.
The 31-year-old businesswoman, who ran a digital marketing firm, became fixated on marrying the VJ after encountering an impersonator using his photos on a matrimonial website. Determined to make her fantasy a reality, she employed sinister tactics, including fitting a tracking device on his car to monitor his movements.
Despite the VJ’s rejection and attempts to distance himself from her, the woman’s obsession only intensified. Undeterred by the revelation that the matrimonial profile was fake and the VJ’s subsequent block on her number, she hatched a chilling plan to abduct him.
Hiring four men to carry out the abduction, the woman orchestrated a violent ordeal for the VJ on February 11. He was forcibly taken to the woman’s office, where he endured physical assault until he succumbed to her demands. Only after agreeing to respond to her calls did she release him.
The traumatized VJ wasted no time in seeking justice, promptly filing a complaint with the Uppal police. His brave action led to the arrest of the woman and her accomplices, shedding light on the disturbing lengths to which obsession can drive individuals.
This alarming case serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of unchecked obsession and the importance of seeking help when faced with such alarming behavior. The swift action of law enforcement in apprehending the perpetrators underscores the commitment to ensuring justice and safety in the community.
