Today, farmers are scheduled to conduct a tractor rally along the Yamuna Expressway in Uttar Pradesh’s Gautam Buddh Nagar district, leading to potential extensive traffic congestion at the Delhi-Noida border, causing inconvenience for numerous commuters.
The planned tractor march will traverse through the Yamuna Expressway, Luharli Toll Plaza, and Mahamaya Flyover, prompting authorities to implement traffic diversions in these areas.
To manage the situation, barricades will seal the Delhi-Noida border, with police conducting vehicle inspections for those entering Delhi or Noida. Residents are advised to seek alternative routes or utilize the metro to circumvent the potential inconvenience.
Despite the rally plans, farmers have temporarily halted their journey towards the national capital until February 29, awaiting further decisions, and are currently stationed at the Khanauri and Shambhu points along the Punjab-Haryana border.
