Salman Khan Arrives In Jamnagar For Anant Ambani Pre- Wedding Celebrations

Celebrities from around the world gathered in Jamnagar, Gujarat, for the pre-wedding celebrations of Reliance Group Chairman Mukesh Ambani’s younger son Anant Ambani. Anant will marry Radhika Merchant, daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, later this year. Bollywood star Salman Khan arrived in Jamnagar to join the celebrations.

Paparazzi footage shows Salman Khan arriving at Jamnagar airport on Wednesday evening. She wore a light green denim jacket with jeans for a casual look at the airport. Salman waved affectionately to photographers gathered outside the airport.

Apart from the star-studded event, American singer-songwriter J Brown also arrived in Jamnagar for a three-day pre-wedding celebration. Joining him is multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and bassist Adam Blackstone, who also traveled to Jamnagar.

The celebration started with a warm welcome from the Ambani family. Mukesh Ambani, Anant Ambani, Radhika Merchant and other family members visited Jogwad near Reliance town in Jamnagar village and cooked Gujarati food for the villagers. Radhika’s grandmother and parents Viren Merchant and Shaila Merchant also attended the ‘Anna Service’. The food drive aims to serve approximately 51,000 local residents over the next few days.

The Ambani family organized an ‘anna seva’ event to seek blessings from the local people before the pre-wedding celebrations. After the meal, the participants were treated to folk music and Gujarati singer Kirtidan Gadhvi stole the show with her melodious voice.

Sharing food has a special place in the Ambani family tradition. They have a history of eating for good times. Reliance Foundation, led by Anant Ambani’s mother Nita Ambani, has launched a massive food distribution program in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak. Now Anant Ambani continues the tradition by starting his pre-wedding celebrations with ‘anna seva’.

The pre-wedding event should be a grand celebration of Indian culture. Guests will receive scarves made by women artisans in Kutch and Lalpur, Gujarat.

The guest list of the event includes important names from all over the world. Former Swedish Prime Minister Carl Bildt, former Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Google Chairman Donald Harrison, former Bolivian President Jorge Quiroga, former Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, World Economic Forum President Klaus Schwab and many others.
