Karnataka Police Gets FREE Hand On Rameshwaram Cafe Explosion

Regarding the explosion at Bengaluru’s Rameshwaram Cafe, Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar stated that the police are conducting an investigation, and the state government has provided them with full autonomy.

G Parameshwara mentioned that the authorities are actively investigating the case. “Our investigation is ongoing. We have deployed 8 teams, each working in different directions and exploring various angles. Numerous CCTV footages have been collected and scrutinized. We are examining every possible aspect, including the presence of any motives such as jealousy. I urge the opposition to cooperate with us and refrain from politicizing this issue… We are uncertain about any connection with the Mangaluru blast, but similar materials and technical systems were used. The NSG arrived yesterday, and we are determined to identify the culprit. We briefed the CM in a meeting yesterday, and today I’ve convened a meeting with all senior officers. The BJP should refrain from making negative statements.”

Amidst the intensified investigation into the bomb blast that shook a city eatery on March 1, leaving 10 individuals injured, the Karnataka government expressed optimism on Saturday regarding the swift apprehension of the perpetrators. Relying on CCTV footage, authorities anticipate nabbing the culprits soon, although they refrain from attributing the incident to any particular group at present.

Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayananda disclosed that the case has been transferred to the Central Crime Branch and emphasized that no arrests have been made yet. He assured the public that the investigation is progressing vigorously, with multiple teams pursuing various leads to unravel the circumstances surrounding the explosion caused by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED). “Several teams are working on different leads obtained so far,” he stated, underscoring the thoroughness of the ongoing inquiry.
