Vaibhav Gupta won the Indian Idol award in the 14th season of the popular singing reality show in India. Other finalists of the competition include Anjana Padmanabhan, Ananya Pal, Piyush Panwar, Subhadeep Das and Adya Mishra.

Vaibhav also expressed his desire to act in a dubbed film Among Salman Khan, Vicky Kaushal and Ranveer Singh.
