The Karnataka Government has received a bomb threat via email, indicating a potential explosion scheduled for Saturday. The email contains warnings of extensive explosions targeting buses, trains, taxis, hotels, temples, and various other locations throughout Karnataka.
Furthermore, the sender threatened a specific explosion on the Ambari Utsav bus. They also mentioned their intention to publicize their demands on social media and share screenshots of the email sent to the state government after the explosion.

A copy of the threatening email was forwarded to the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, Home Minister, and other government email addresses.
The email was sent by a person using the email address (Shahidkhan10786@protonmail.com) .
The email stated, “What are your impressions of the movie trailer? If you fail to furnish us with 2.5 million dollars, we will orchestrate significant explosions targeting buses, trains, temples, hotels, and public areas across Karnataka.”
It continued, “We intend to unveil another ‘trailer’ by detonating the Ambari Utsav bus next. Following this blast, we will voice our demands on social media and post screenshots of the email sent to you. Details about the subsequent explosion will be shared via Twitter.”
Meanwhile, the Bengaluru City Crime Branch police have registered the case.
Previously, the Karnataka Police apprehended an individual named Mohammed Rasool Kaddare for sharing a video on social media wherein he made threats against the lives of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The arrest came subsequent to the filing of an FIR at the Surpur police station in Yadgiri, Karnataka.
The accused was charged under sections 505(1)(b), 25(1)(b) of the Indian Penal Code, and the Arms Act at the Surpur police station in Yadgiri.
